Richard Conner | Managing Partner

Richard Conner brings a distinctive combination of technology, real estate, operations, and design to GRAVA Properties. He began his career in technology while simultaneously building a real estate business of his own, developing a practical understanding of both data-driven decision-making and the opportunities created through thoughtful real estate investment.

Before joining GRAVA, Richard served as Director of Digital Innovation and Analytics for a national credit union, where he focused on leveraging technology and analytics to improve performance and operations. Today, he brings that same analytical and entrepreneurial mindset to real estate development and leads operations at GRAVA. He has played a central role in the development of more than $100 million in real estate projects, overseeing the many details required to bring projects from concept through execution.

Richard joined forces with GRAVA Founder and President Greg Vaca through a shared passion for walkability, transit-oriented development, and placemaking. Both believe that great real estate should do more than generate strong financial returns—it should create distinctive places that improve the communities around them.

In addition to leading operations, Richard directs GRAVA’s interior design, bringing a strong point of view to the way its communities look, feel, and function. His passion for art and design informs GRAVA’s approach to creating spaces with character, authenticity, and a strong sense of place. He believes thoughtful design is an essential part of the resident experience and an important driver of long-term value.
